The Milwaukee Brewers won the first two games of the World Series against Tampa Bay

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 3-2 on Friday and 5-4 on Saturday, and lead the best-of-seven World Series two games to none. Neither team has ever won a championship. In Game 2 the Rays scored four runs in the first inning, and Milwaukee came back, with Sal Frelick tying it on a home run in the sixth. Game 3 is Monday in Florida.

Tampa Bay scored four runs in the first inning and still lost, so the department recommends finishing the project before announcing it.

Kimi Antonelli won the United States Grand Prix and is one result from the world title

Kimi Antonelli of Mercedes won the United States Grand Prix in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, finishing 13 seconds ahead of Charles Leclerc of Ferrari. It was his ninth win of the season. He leads the drivers' championship by 123 points, and a ninth-place finish at the next race, in Mexico City, would give him the title at age 20, which would make him the youngest champion in the sport's history.

He needs only a ninth-place finish to clinch, which is about the effort most of us put in the week before a vacation.

It was his 25th tour title and his fourth of this year. Basilashvili, who had to qualify for the tournament, was in his first final since 2022.

The tour spends late October in Kazakhstan so the calendar can say it was busy right through the part where nobody was watching.
