He began Sunday three shots behind Viktor Hovland of Norway, shot 66, the only under-par round among the last six players out, and won by three. It is his second FedEx Cup in three years. The FedEx Cup is named after a delivery company, and for the second time in three years it has gone to the same address. PHOTO: BRYAN BERLIN / CC BY-SA 4.0 / WIKIMEDIA COMMONS |

 | | THE ROOF IN MILWAUKEE, PHOTOGRAPHED IN 2005, FROM BELOW, ITS PREFERRED ANGLE | | EXHIBIT B A playoff game in Milwaukee ended when the ball hit the roof, and Milwaukee won the next one too In Saturday's playoff opener in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a ninth-inning San Diego fly ball struck a cable under the stadium roof, which the ballpark's rules count as still in play, and was caught for the last out of a 3-2 Brewers win. On Sunday, with the roof open, Jackson Chourio's two-run single in the ninth won it 4-3. Milwaukee leads the best-of-five series 2-0. The roof was in the right place at the right time, and the department has recommended it for a contract extension. PHOTO: JERAMEY JANNENE / CC BY 2.0 / WIKIMEDIA COMMONS |

 | | MICKAEL BARZALONA, WHO RODE DARYZ BOTH YEARS, PHOTOGRAPHED IN 2013 AT SOMEONE ELSE'S TROPHY CEREMONY | | EXHIBIT C A French-trained horse won Europe's richest race for the second year running The Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, run every October in Paris, France, is the richest horse race in Europe, worth 5 million euros. Daryz won it on Sunday for the second straight year, by a length and a quarter. He is the first male horse to win it twice since 1978, and his owners have suggested he will now retire to a career in breeding. None of the five million euros goes to the horse, who did all of the running, which makes Daryz the only participant in this story with a legitimate grievance and no lawyer. Sunday's late games ended after filing. The Jets' defense finally caught a pass meant for someone else, ending a streak that began before most people's current phone. | | GUSTAV FORSLING, PHOTOGRAPHED IN 2025, WITH 4.3 SECONDS TO SPARE | | EXHIBIT F Carolina raised its championship banner, then lost to the team it took the championship from Hockey's regular season opened on Tuesday in Raleigh, North Carolina, where the Carolina Hurricanes first raised a banner for the Stanley Cup, the championship they won in June. They then lost 1-0 to the Florida Panthers, champions in 2024 and 2025, when Gustav Forsling scored with 4.3 seconds left in overtime, the extra period played when a game is tied. Florida sat politely through a ceremony about its own defeat and then won with 4.3 seconds left, a reply-all of historic precision. PHOTO: THE KIP / CC BY-SA 4.0 / WIKIMEDIA COMMONS |
